Donald A. Cole, MD
Gastroenterology / ABIM Board Certified
Dr. Cole's career began on the hardwood in Mars Hill College in North Carolina in 1972. Attending on a full scholarship, Dr. Cole graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Chemistry in 1976 and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia of Virginia Commonwealth University in 1980. Internship and residency were completed at the University of Illinois Hospitals in Chicago, and fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Cole supervised the buildup of ICU facilities during Desert Shield/Storm and received Meritorious Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster for his service. He is ABIM Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Rahil D Shah, MD
Gastroenterology / ABIM Board Certified
Dr. Shah's medical career began at the University of Michigan in 1991. After receiving his degree he enrolled at American University of the Caribbean and graduated in 1999. Later that year, Dr. Shah's internship, residency, and fellowship were completed at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. Dr. Shah is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American College of Physicians, and the American College of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Kim Carver, FNP
Kim Carver graduated college from David Lipscomb University in 1990 with a BS in Biology Education. She followed that up with a Masters of ScienceĀ from Vanderbilt University, emphasizing primarily in Family Practice. She has worked around the greater Nashville area since 1992, and brings that experience and a high level of care and compassion to LDDA. She is certified with APRN, APN, and RN.
